Foxwood is a condo community located on Foxwood Drive in Morris Plains in Morris County, NJ. There are approximately 190 units in the complex which was built between 1980 and 1982. Foxwood offers 1-3 bedroom single-floor condos with 1-2 baths. The units range in size from approximately 800 to 1,400 square foot. The larger units come with a 1-car garage. The basement of each building has storage lockers for residents. Some of the condos have no steps to enter. The development is a condominium or condo association. As of the year 2010, Impac Property Management was employed by the residents. The monthly association fee was approximately $300 to $540 depending upon the size of the unit and includes exterior building maintenance, common area maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, garbage removal, heat, hot water, sewer, and water. In 2010 there was a special assessment for new exterior siding assigned to the unit owners at approximately $150 per month, per unit, until 2020. Foxwood is easily accessible to NJ Route 10 and Interstate 287 which runs north-south through Morris County and offers an easy connection to major east-west routes including Interstate 80, 280, and NJ Route 24. Morris Plains has a train station on the NJ Transit Morristown Line with direct service to Hoboken or NY Penn Station. Passengers who take the Hoboken train can switch to the PATH to reach NYC. Passengers who take the Midtown Direct train will arrive at NY Penn Station in about 65 minutes. Passengers can transfer at Newark Broad Street or Summit to reach the other destination if necessary. Denville also has a train station and bus service to NYC.

Morris Plains Public Schools educate students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Public schools in the district are Mountain Way School for grades K-2 and Borough School for grades 3-8. Students for grades 9-12 attend Morristown High School, which also serves the communities of Morristown and Morris Township.

There is an amazing amount of nearby shopping for residents. From big chain stores in East Hanover and Roxbury, to small shops and boutiques in Denville and Morristown, everything you need is just a short drive away. Morris Plains has a charming downtown with shops and restaurants located close by. The Rockaway Townsquare Mall is about 20 minutes away in Rockaway Township. Residents can easily drive to the Short Hills Mall and Livingston Mall.
