Randolph Township is a beautiful historic community located within the Highlands of New Jersey. Located 30 miles west of New York City, Randolph is 22 square miles and is known for its woods, ponds, lakes and recreational activities.

Randolph townhome and condo communities include Buckingham, Arrowgate, Bolder Ridge, and Woodmont.

There are several sections of Randolph, including Mount Freedom, Center Grove, Fernbrook, Ironia, and Shongum. Through the 1950s, farms, large hotels and bungalow colonies dotted the community. In the 1960s and 1980s many new homes were built in the town. The city’s housing stock includes everything from two bedroom Cape Cods to three to five bedroom center hall colonials. Real estate prices range from $350,000 to $2 million and more for custom homes on large lots.

Randolph is easily accessible to Routes 10, 287, and 80 as well as the Dover Train Station were you can ride the NJ Transit Mid-Town Direct Line. Lakeland Bus in Dover, NJ offers service to Port Authority in mid-town New York City.

Randolph has four elementary schools (K-5): Center Grove, Fernbrook, Ironia, and Shongum Elementary School. Randolph Middle School educates children in grades 6-8, and Randolph High School provides instruction for teenagers in grades 9-12. In addition to the public school system, the main campus of the County College of Morris is located in Randolph Township.

The community of Randolph Township is largely based around organized events, including high school sports, senior citizen gatherings, and various group activities. There is a public library, with regularly scheduled reading groups, and other programs. The Brundage Park Playhouse shows plays and musicals with youth and adult performers alike.
