Most activities occur in the ballroom at the White Meadow Lake Club House, which include parties, comedy nights, mystery nights, dances, dinners and other celebrations. Residents may rent out the ballroom for private parties. During the summer there are numerous outdoor parties held at the beach. WML has its own pre-school for residents. All owners are required to pay an annual fee to maintain the common facilities.

The Rockaway Townsquare is about four miles away from White Meadow Lake. The Townsquare Mall which is anchored by Macy’s, JC Penny’s, Lord & Taylor, Target, Walmart, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Rockaway Townsquare Mall is one of the largest and most modern malls in New Jersey.
